Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by T2 Pinans, Inc. through KISSit.ai websites, software distribution services, private beta programs, download access systems, support channels, feedback channels, and related services that refer to this Policy.
This Policy does not govern third-party websites, software, platforms, repositories, operating systems, or services that may be linked to or used with KISSit.ai products. Those third parties apply their own privacy policies and practices.
Who is responsible for your information
T2 Pinans, Inc. is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal information covered by this Privacy Policy, except where another party is independently responsible under applicable law.
References to “KISSit.ai,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this Policy refer to T2 Pinans, Inc. in connection with the applicable KISSit.ai product or service.
Privacy principles
We seek to process personal information according to the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality.
We aim to collect only information that is relevant and reasonably necessary for a declared purpose, use it fairly and lawfully, maintain appropriate safeguards, and retain it only for as long as required for that purpose, legitimate business needs, legal obligations, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Local-first application data
KISSit Terminal Free is designed as a local-first desktop application. Terminal workspaces, commands, terminal output, application preferences, and locally stored workspace information are intended to remain on the user’s Mac unless the user deliberately exports, transmits, synchronizes, copies, shares, or submits that information through another service.
Normal use of KISSit Terminal Free does not require KISSit.ai to receive the contents of commands entered in local terminal sessions or the resulting local terminal output.
Commands executed through the application may independently communicate with websites, repositories, package managers, cloud services, remote systems, or other third parties selected by the user. Those communications are controlled by the commands, tools, and third-party services involved rather than by this Privacy Policy.
No account required for normal application use
KISSit Terminal Free does not require a KISSit.ai account for ordinary local use.
Certain optional services, including private beta registration, protected downloads, support, feedback, release notifications, or future online features, may require contact information, verification information, or an access credential.
Information you provide
We may process information you voluntarily provide when requesting private beta access, obtaining a protected download, contacting support, submitting feedback, reporting a security concern, responding to a survey, or otherwise communicating with KISSit.ai.
Depending on the service, this information may include your name, email address, organization, role, country or region, inquiry category, message content, consent selections, product version, device or operating-system details, and information reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to your request.
You should provide only information that is relevant and necessary for the request or service.
Private beta and download information
When you request or receive private beta access, we may process information needed to review eligibility, issue and validate a protected download token, associate access with an approved tester, deliver release information, prevent unauthorized sharing, investigate misuse, and maintain download audit records.
This information may include your name, email address, tester status, release identifier, token status, token issuance or expiration information, download date and time, verification result, limited device or browser information, network address, and security-related event information.
Protected download links and tokens may be unique to an approved tester and should not be shared with unauthorized persons.
Support and feedback information
When you contact support or provide feedback, we may process your contact details, message content, product edition, application version, operating-system information, screenshots, logs, diagnostic details, and related correspondence.
We use this information to respond to requests, troubleshoot issues, investigate defects, improve products, administer private beta programs, protect service integrity, and maintain records of support or feedback activity.
Do not submit passwords, private keys, recovery codes, authentication tokens, payment credentials, confidential terminal output, proprietary source code, regulated personal information, or information belonging to another person unless it is strictly necessary, authorized, and requested through an approved secure process.
Website and technical information
When you visit a KISSit.ai website or use an online service, our systems and service providers may automatically process limited technical information required to deliver pages, maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and operate website functionality.
This information may include an Internet Protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, requested page, referring page, request date and time, response status, language setting, approximate region derived from network information, and technical security or error events.
We do not treat technical information as anonymous when it can reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual.
Cookies and similar technologies
KISSit.ai may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies that are necessary to operate website functions, remember privacy choices, maintain security, and preserve user-selected preferences such as theme or language.
Optional technologies will be controlled through the available Cookie Preferences interface where required or supported.
Additional details about categories, purposes, duration, and preference controls are described in the KISSit.ai Cookie Policy.
Purposes of processing
We may process personal information to provide and secure websites, distribute software, administer private beta access, validate protected downloads, respond to support and feedback, investigate incidents, diagnose technical problems, maintain service records, communicate material product or policy information, enforce applicable terms, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and protect users, infrastructure, and legal rights.
We may also use appropriately limited information to understand product reliability, improve usability, develop features, and maintain compatibility, provided that the processing is consistent with the declared purpose and applicable law.
Basis for processing
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, personal information may be processed with your consent, to provide a service or take steps at your request, to fulfill contractual responsibilities, to comply with a legal obligation, to protect vital interests, to respond to lawful authority, or for legitimate business purposes that are compatible with your rights and reasonable expectations.
Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law and any processing already lawfully completed.
Some information may be required to provide a requested service. If you do not provide required information, we may be unable to approve private beta access, issue a protected download, investigate a report, or respond effectively to a request.
Disclosure to service providers
We may engage service providers to host infrastructure, deliver email, maintain security, store records, process forms, distribute software, monitor service availability, or perform other functions on our behalf.
Service providers may process personal information only for authorized purposes and are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality, privacy, and security safeguards consistent with their role and applicable law.
T2 Pinans, Inc. remains responsible for exercising appropriate oversight over personal information processed on its behalf.
Other disclosures
We may disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents; enforce agreements; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or protect the rights, safety, and property of users, T2 Pinans, Inc., or others.
Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, corporate restructuring, or transfer of an applicable product or service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
We do not disclose personal information to unrelated parties for their independent purposes unless we have an appropriate legal basis and provide any notice or choice required by law.
No sale of personal information
T2 Pinans, Inc. does not sell personal information collected through KISSit.ai products and services for monetary compensation.
We do not authorize service providers to use personal information received from us for their own unrelated advertising or commercial purposes.
International and cross-border processing
KISSit.ai systems or service providers may process or store information in jurisdictions other than the jurisdiction in which you reside.
Where personal information is transferred or made accessible across borders, we seek to apply contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, purpose, recipient, and requirements of applicable law.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, provide requested services, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, satisfy legitimate business requirements, comply with legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Retention periods may vary according to the type of record, sensitivity of the information, applicable product or service, contractual requirements, security risk, and legal obligations.
When personal information is no longer required, we seek to delete, destroy, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it securely in accordance with applicable requirements and the KISSit.ai Data Retention Policy.
Security safeguards
We seek to maintain reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful loss, destruction, alteration, unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, or other unlawful processing.
Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, network protections, logging, monitoring, secure development practices, personnel confidentiality obligations, incident-response procedures, backups, and service-provider oversight.
No system, transmission method, storage platform, or security control can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your devices, accounts, credentials, private keys, access tokens, and local terminal information.
Personal data breaches
We maintain procedures intended to identify, assess, contain, investigate, document, and respond to suspected personal data breaches.
Where notification is required, we will notify affected individuals and the appropriate authority in the manner and within the period required by applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may have the right to be informed about processing, object to processing, access personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request erasure or blocking, withdraw consent, obtain data portability where applicable, claim damages, and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. Verification information will be used only to evaluate and respond to the request and protect personal information from unauthorized disclosure.
Some requests may be limited or declined where permitted or required by law, including when information must be retained for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
How to exercise your rights
Privacy questions and requests concerning personal information processed through KISSit.ai may be sent to support@kissit.ai.
Your request should identify the relevant KISSit.ai product or service, describe the right you wish to exercise, and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records and verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Republic of the Philippines, subject to its applicable rules and procedures.
Children’s privacy
KISSit.ai products and services are not intentionally designed to collect personal information directly from children without appropriate authorization.
If you believe that a child has submitted personal information through a KISSit.ai service without the consent or authorization required by law, contact support@kissit.ai so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Automated decisions and profiling
KISSit.ai does not currently use personal information covered by this Policy to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on an individual.
If such processing is introduced, this Policy or an applicable notice will be updated to explain the processing, relevant logic, expected consequences, safeguards, and available rights.
Third-party links and integrations
KISSit.ai websites and products may contain links to third-party websites, repositories, social networks, documentation, software, or online services.
Selecting a third-party link or using an external integration may allow that third party to collect or receive information under its own terms and privacy practices. T2 Pinans, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
T2 Pinans, Inc. may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in products, services, data practices, security controls, business operations, laws, regulations, or regulatory guidance.
The current version will identify its effective date and last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, software, email, or another appropriate notice mechanism.
Your use of KISSit.ai products or services after an updated Policy becomes effective will be subject to the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Relationship to other policies
This Privacy Policy should be read together with the KISSit.ai Terms of Use, Cookie Policy, Data Retention Policy, Usage Policy, Security information, and any product-specific or private-beta notice presented to you.
Where a product-specific privacy notice provides more specific information about a particular processing activity, that notice applies to the activity it describes.
